East Rutherford, N.J. "Giants Life Presented by Cadillac" returns tomorrow with an all-new episode that focuses on the 2025 off-season. In the season premiere, viewers go behind the scenes with general manager Joe Schoen, coach Brian Daboll, and the rest of the Giants' front office and coaching staff in the draft room as they land one of the best prospects in Abdul Carter.
"Abdul is a great person that loves the game of football and has a high, I'd say competitiveness, to him," Daboll said. "We did a lot of work on Abdul, really just got to know him even more and the type of person he is."
The first episode tracks the team's interactions with Carter throughout the pre-draft process. It begins in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine, where Carter meets with the top brass to answer questions about football and much more. The episode continues with the outside linebacker's visit to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, where he meets with defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, outside linebackers coach Charlie Bullen, and other members of the coaching staff.
"The combine is just part of the process," Daboll said. "There are a lot of other touch points that you have with players. We try to use as many as we can to get to know the player on a personal level, and then also is he what you're looking for on the field, and is he also what you're looking for off the field."
The first episode finishes with Carter traveling to East Rutherford with his family for his introductory press conference. The No. 3 overall pick meets numerous people around the facility, including Giants legend Carl Banks, new teammate Brian Burns, and fellow first-round pick Jaxson Dart.
Speaking of Dart, the second episode of Giants Life revolves around the trade and subsequent selection of the Mississippi quarterback with the 25th overall pick. Episode 2 will be released Friday at 10 a.m.
All episodes of Giants Life will be available on the Giants' YouTube Channel, Giants.com, the official Giants mobile app, and the GiantsTV app.
