Jason Robertson scored the winning goal with one minute remaining and earned an assist as the Dallas Stars edged the visiting St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Friday.
Wyatt Johnston also had a goal and an assist for the Stars, who had lost four of their previous five games. Matt Duchene scored for Dallas, and Roope Hintz earned two assists.
Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger made 20 saves.
Dallas defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin left the game with a lower-body injury during the second period did not return.
Pavel Buchnevich had a goal and an assist for the Blues, who lost their third straight game. Dalibor Dvorsky also scored for St. Louis, and Jordan Binnington stopped 16 shots.
Both teams had good scoring chances in the third period, but the game remained tied until Robertson netted the winner. He gained control of the puck after an offensive-zone faceoff and snapped a shot past Binnington.
Dallas tied the game 2-2 by scoring a power-play goal off the rush 7:44 into the period. Johnson came down the middle and fed Duchene for a wide-open shot off the left wing.
The Stars took a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal at the 5:41 mark of the first period. After Miro Heiskanen shot from the center point, Johnston deflected the puck on goal and then punched in the rebound.
The Blues tied the game with a power-play goal at 11:30 of the opening period. Buchnevich moved the puck from the middle slot to the right faceoff circle for Dvorsky's one-time shot off Oettinger's glove.
Buchnevich put the Blues up 2-1 at the 4:04 mark of the second period. Jordan Kyrou rushed the puck up the right wing, then Cam Fowler moved it to Jake Neighbours on left wing. Neighbours passed the puck back to Buchnevich for his shot from the slot.
