Paolo Banchero produced 31 points and 12 rebounds to help the visiting Orlando Magic earn a 133-124 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
Anthony Black added 26 points and Desmond Bane scored 23 for the Magic, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Jalen Suggs tallied 16 and Tristan da Silva finished with 12.
Simone Fontecchio scored a season-high 23 points for Miami, while Bam Adebayo had 21 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Norman Powell had 22 points and Andrew Wiggins totaled 16.
Down by nine at halftime, Orlando opened the third quarter on an 18-7 run and took a 77-75 advantage on Bane's 3-pointer with 6:37 left.
After Wiggins pulled the Heat within one, Banchero's triple punctuated an 8-0 spurt that put the Magic ahead 90-81. The margin then ballooned to 14 on Banchero's jumper. Adebayo's trey cut the deficit to 11 entering the fourth.
The Heat sliced their deficit to 107-104 on Adebayo's fourth 3-pointer with 8:27 remaining. From there, the Magic answered with a 14-0 run, extending their lead to 17 on Wendell Carter Jr.'s floater at the 5:47 mark.
Miami mounted another rally, pulling within six on Powell's three-point play with 1:25 remaining. Orlando scored the next three points to cement the win.
Bane stamped a 16-2 run in the first quarter with a floater that put the Magic ahead 34-21. Miami finished the opening quarter with triples by Fontecchio and Dru Smith, trimming its deficit to seven.
Miami jumped ahead by seven on Wiggins' layup with 5:02 left in the second quarter. The Heat took their first double-digit lead with 23 seconds remaining, as Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s layup put Miami up 68-58.
