Paolo Banchero scored 30 points and the Orlando Magic set a franchise record with 27 3-pointers while routing the host Sacramento Kings 131-94 on Thursday night.
Sacramento set a franchise record with its 15th consecutive loss. The former Cincinnati Royals twice had 14-game skids -- in the 1959-60 and 1971-72 seasons.
Anthony Black added 20 points, Desmond Bane scored 17 and Jett Howard had 16 on 6-of-6 shooting for the Magic, who overcame a 12-point second-quarter deficit to win in the first game following the All-Star break for both teams.
Howard buried a 3-pointer with 2:31 left for No. 26 to set the franchise mark. Howard added another one two minutes later.
The Magic set the previous mark of 25 against the Kings during a 138-135 double-overtime loss at Sacramento on Jan. 3, 2024.
Banchero made five treys, while Black and backups Howard and Tristan da Silva (12 points) each knocked down four.
Maxime Raynaud had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Keegan Murray recorded 15 points and eight boards for the Kings. Murray missed the previous 20 games because of an ankle injury.
Precious Achiuwa had 14 points and nine rebounds and reserve Malik Monk also put up 14 points for Sacramento. DeMar DeRozan scored 13 points and Devin Carter added 11 for the Kings.
Jevon Carter scored 14 points and Moritz Wagner had 11 for Orlando, which shot 52.9% from 3-point range and 50% overall.
Sacramento shot 41.2% from the field, including 8 of 27 (29.6%) from behind the arc.
Orlando connected on 8 of 13 3-point attempts during a 38-point third quarter.
The Kings trailed just 80-79 after Monk's 3-pointer with 5:08 remaining in the third before the Magic finished the period on a 22-5 surge.
da Silva nailed three treys in the first three-plus minutes of the fourth to boost the lead to 22. Bane later hit two 3-pointers in 44 seconds, the latter one tying the franchise mark with 5:12 left.
Sacramento led 28-18 after Orlando made just 5 of 24 field-goal attempts (20.8%) in the first quarter.
The Kings held an 11-point lead early in the second quarter before the Magic ripped off 16 consecutive points. Black's layup capped the burst for a 42-37 advantage with 6:12 left in the half.
Banchero connected on Orlando's 12th trey of the half with 15.9 seconds left and Orlando led 64-55 at the break. Banchero had 18 first-half points.
