Matt Savoie scored the eventual game-winner, and Connor McDavid added three assists as the Edmonton Oilers topped the visiting Nashville Predators 3-1 on Sunday night.
Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman also scored for the Oilers, who snapped a two-game skid and won for the fifth time in nine games (5-3-1).
Connor Ingram made 27 saves to improve to 5-2-2 in nine career games against Nashville.
Fedor Svechkov responded for Nashville, which dropped to 3-5-3 in its last 11 and 12-15-6 on the road this season.
Justus Annunen stopped 27 shots in the loss.
Trailing 2-0, Svechkov got Nashville on the board at 4:52 of the third as his shot deflected off Edmonton forward Jack Roslovic and beat Ingram post-and-in for his third of the season.
Hyman added an empty-netter at 18:53 of the third. McDavid's third assist of the game tied him with Bryan Trottier for the ninth-most three-assist games (61) in NHL history.
Edmonton outshot Nashville 11-7 and led 1-0 after 20 minutes on Draisaitl's 35th goal of the season.
The Oilers forward opened the scoring on a power play at 3:12 of the first period, using Predators forward Zachary L'Heureux as a screen and putting his wrist shot five-hole past Annunen.
The goal was Draisaitl's 30th against Nashville, making him the fastest active player to score 30 against a single franchise (32 games).
With his assist, McDavid extended his point streak against the Predators to 18 games.
Savoie doubled the Oilers' lead, finishing off a 2-on-1 feed from McDavid for his 11th of the season at 2:32 of the middle frame.
Predators forward Ozzy Wiesblatt caught Draisaitl with a hit at 15:36 of the first period and the Oilers forward immediately went to the locker room. Draisaitl returned to finish the period but did not return for the remainder of the game.
Sunday was the teams' third and final meeting in the regular season. The Oilers picked up a 6-2 home win on Jan. 6. Seven days later, the Predators responded with a 4-3 home victory in overtime.
