NBA legend Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, ESPN reported on Friday.
A five-time NBA champion, Rodman entered the squared circle with World Championship Wrestling in 1997.
He famously skipped a practice with the Chicago Bulls during the 1998 NBA Finals to appear on 'WCW Monday Nitro.' At the weekly televised show, he joined New World Order teammate 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan to set up a wrestling angle with fellow basketball veteran Karl Malone and wrestler 'Diamond' Dallas Page.
Although Rodman appeared in just four wrestling matches, his over-the-top personality meshed well in the wild world of professional wrestling.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on April 17 in Las Vegas.
Rodman, 64, was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
The two-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year led the NBA in rebounds in seven consecutive seasons (1991-98) while playing with the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs and Bulls. He finished his basketball career with the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.
