RJ Barrett scored 27 points and Sandro Mamukelashvili added 23 as the visiting Toronto Raptors snapped a two-game losing skid with a 143-127 win over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Monday.
Ja'Kobe Walter made six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 21 points for Toronto (40-31), which led by as many as 35 and shot 61.4% from the field, including 54.1% (20 of 37) from 3-point range.
The Raptors led 117-88 at the end of the third quarter after outscoring the Jazz 49-30 in the period. The 49 points matched Toronto's franchise record for most points in a quarter.
Scottie Barnes added 20 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists for the Raptors, while Jamison Battle scored 17 points, Gradey Dick had 13, and Jamal Shead recorded a career-high 15 assists.
Ace Bailey led Utah (21-51) with a career-high 37 points and matched his career high with seven 3-pointers. Brice Sensabaugh scored 24 points, John Konchar added 19, Oscar Tshiebwe scored 16, and Kennedy Chandler had 13 points and nine assists.
Utah lost for the sixth time in its last seven games and was outscored 60-46 on points in the paint.
Toronto led 31-25 at the end of the opening quarter after holding the Jazz to 6-of-20 (30%) shooting.
Barnes hit back-to-back baskets to put the Raptors ahead 60-47 with 2:30 left in the second quarter, and Toronto held a 68-58 advantage at the half.
Bailey scored 18 points in the first half for Utah, while Barnes led Toronto with 16.
The Raptors quickly opened up a 24-point lead after beginning the third quarter on a 20-6 run. Barrett scored 18 points in the period to help Toronto take control.
Utah trailed by 33 midway through the fourth quarter before using a 24-3 run to cut the deficit to 137-125 with 1:48 remaining. Bailey led the rally and finished shooting 11 of 21 from the field and 7 of 10 from beyond the arc.
The Raptors played without Brandon Ingram (right heel inflammation), Jakob Poeltl (back) and Immanuel Quickley (right foot).
Toronto rookie forward Collin Murray-Boyles returned after missing the past 11 games with a left thumb sprain and had nine points and four rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench.
