Specially designed rest and viewing areas on the bridge deck allowed visitors to relax, enjoy the sea view, and experience live performances, creating a new form of elevated public space. The opening culminated in the inauguration ceremony titled 'Thanksgiving · Beautiful Night Opening,' where engineering teams gathered to witness the completion of the project. The ceremony also featured Cloud Gate Dance Theatre presenting its new work, 'Light Chain,' inspired by the structural logic and mechanics of the bridge. The performance translated architectural form into bodily movement, integrating architecture, engineering, and performing arts into a unified expression, marking a symbolic conclusion to the opening program.
