Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs returned to the practice field Tuesday for the first time since his arrest last month in an alleged domestic violence incident.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur referred to Jacobs' status with the team as 'business as usual' ahead of Tuesday's OTA session, where video footage showed Jacobs going through drills with his teammates.
Jacobs, 28, had been away from the team after being arrested on May 26. Prosecutors in Wisconsin's Brown County said last week that no decision has been made about filing formal criminal charges.
Entering his third season with the Packers after signing a four-year, $48 million free agent deal in 2024, Jacobs is a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2020, 2022, 2024) and was a first-team All Pro in 2022, when he led the NFL in rushing yards with the Las Vegas Raiders.
In seven NFL seasons, Jacobs has rushed for 7,803 yards on 1,840 attempts with 74 touchdowns. He has 269 catches for 2,072 yards and two scores in 105 career games (104 starts).
